- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk sour cream, milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stir until just mixed (don’t overmix!).
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares. Enjoy!
